ABOUT THE ARTIST
I consider myself an outdoor photographer
with a special interest in clouds, the sky, and storms, but
I don't limit myself to those topics. My work has been published
in calendars, books, magazines, and postcards (I have some
sample postcard images here).
In addition to weather-related work, I
have a special love for the landscapes of the United States,
and for the plains in particular. I also like to photograph
in the mountains when I get the chance. Of special interest
is situations where the mountains and plains intermingle.
Wildflowers are a favorite target, and if I can include
a dramatic sky with my wildflower images, so much the better.
My "day job" work has taken me abroad on occasion,
and I enjoy doing photography during such opportunities,
as well.
